This picture, although terrible, clearly captures the duality of me. On one hand, desperate to hide, to not disrupt, to fit in among the herd. On the other hand, longing to be seen, to be understood, to be accepted for who I am. An artist that's been in hiding.
I recently made a commitment to fully pursue a life of passion and creativity and Barefoot in the Jungle is a peek into that journey — a journey into the unknown. Removing the safety net, leaving behind rules, plans and expectations to find the magic.
What you’ll find here are ways I express myself through poetry, song and dance and some honest reflections on the process of creating. In being a little vulnerable I hope to inspire you to do the same. Let’s embark on this mission together.
